Can I take Ibuprom for a cold if I use Metypred, Bilobil, Polvertic and Pronasal?
10.00 zł

Hello, I have the last week left to take the following medications: Metypred once a day, Bilobil Intense, Polvertic and Pronasal twice a day. Since yesterday I got sick, I have a sore throat, I don't have strength and I have a slight runny nose. Can I take ibuprom if I take the above-mentioned medications every day? Is there any interaction with them? And if not, what can I do instead of ibuprom?
I also treat myself with Orofar lozenges, I think he shouldn't interact with anything.

Up to @Roksana:
Herbapect will be safe in this case.

Thank you, and won't Herbapect interact as well? I started to suffer from a dry cough :/

Yes, you can. Fervex, which contains paracetamol and other ingredients that support the treatment of cold symptoms, should not interact with these medications.

And can I take paracetamol in the form of Fervex?

Concomitant use of Metypred with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Ibuprom) may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulceration. A better solution will be to use paracetamol in case of fever (and only in such a situation - paracetamol does not have anti-inflammatory properties). You can continue taking Orofar and as an adjunct - a nasal sea salt solution for a runny nose. Preparations moisturizing the throat mucosa, such as Cevitt or Gelovox, will also work well. I encourage you to read the material on natural ways of treating colds:

I also recommend leading a frugal lifestyle - the medications used plus an upper respiratory tract infection are quite a challenge for the body, so it is worth resting more during this period.
