Mestinone is a prescription drug and should be used according to your doctor's instructions.
Mestinon is a preparation indicated for use in myasthenia gravis, paralytic ileus and postoperative urinary retention. The drug documentation does not indicate that a history of cataract surgery is a contraindication to the use of Mestinon. Because the active ingredient in the medicine can affect the eye, causing eye disorders such as pupil constriction, increased tearing, accommodation disorders (e.g. blurred vision) with an unknown frequency, the decision to use the medicine after surgery is made by the doctor.
