The combination of Anafranil (clomipramine) and Paroxinor (paroxetine) may increase the risk of side effects such as heart rhythm problems, sedation, impaired consciousness, confusion, poor muscle coordination, abdominal cramps, chills, dilated pupils, excessive sweating, and high blood pressure. The combined use of the preparations increases the risk of serotonergic syndrome.
If these medications have been prescribed by different doctors, a consultation will be necessary to determine the correct dosage regimen. If the preparations were prescribed by the same doctor or specialists who knew about the other medicines you are using, follow their recommended dosage schedule.
If you experience any disturbing symptoms, please see a doctor.
