Menstruation means that conception has not occurred and you are not pregnant. Ovulation occurs approximately on the 14th day of the 28-day cycle. The theoretically infertile period begins (conventionally) about 4-5 days later. "Theoretically" – > because the calendar method of contraception is burdened with a considerable risk of error (any unexpected life situations can disturb the menstrual cycle and calculations, which in turn may end in pregnancy).
The described abdominal pain may be related to the course of menstruation - a significant number of women register a deterioration in well-being during this time. Severe pain can be alleviated with antispasmodics, e.g. No-spa, and/or analgesics, e.g. Paracetamol, Ibuprom. The use of warm compresses (hot water bottle) can also have a relaxing effect.
