Concomitant use of Mizetam (ezetimibe + atorvastatin) with Grofibrat S (fenofibrate) is associated with a high risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis, cholelithiasis and liver damage. This combination may only be recommended by the doctor in patients with severe mixed dyslipidemia and a high risk of cardiovascular disease who have no previous muscle disease. This requires close monitoring of muscle function (CK) and liver function (liver enzymes).
