How long should I use Ircolon forte?

Good morning
The doctor prescribed me ircolon forte for irritable bowel syndrome. He ordered me to take one tablet twice a day for two months. The package ended after 2 months and I have stomach pains and diarrhea again and taking the pills was Ok. Should I take it even longer?
