Indications for use of Rectodelt:
Rectodelt is used in infants, toddlers and children to treat acute course of:
- pseudocroup (acute laryngotracheitis with narrowing of the airways)
- groats
- exacerbation of asthma or an acute episode of expiratory wheezing.
Your doctor has recommended the use of a steroid (Rectodelt) if symptoms of acute laryngitis persist. The description indicates an improvement in health after the previously implemented treatment. Upper respiratory tract inflammation symptoms may persist for some time, while Rectodelt should be administered in the event of an exacerbation. If you observe any disturbing symptoms in your child (a sensation of shortness of breath, wheezing), then you should administer the drug.
