The maximum recommended single dose of semaglutide (Rybelsus) is 14 mg per day. Treatment starts with a dose of 3 mg, which should be taken for the first month.
The exact dosage schedule is below:
"The starting dose of semaglutide is 3 mg once a day for one month. After the first month, the dose should be increased to a maintenance dose of 7 mg once daily. After at least one month of taking 7 mg once daily, the dose may be increased to a maintenance dose of 14 mg once daily to further improve glycaemic control. "
