Can I switch from Sertraline to Trittico XR right away if I only took Sertraline for 5 days?
9.99 zł

Good morning.

The doctor prescribed me trittco xr instead of sertraline because of its side effects Sertraline was only taken for 5 days, or if I took serotroline in the morning at a dose of 25 mg, in the evening I can already take trictto xr. Won't these drugs enter into an interreaction? And there will be no withdrawal effects of serotrolin?

Theoretically, there is a risk of side effects such as headaches, dizziness, vomiting, fever, high blood pressure, convulsions, sweating, chills. However, since you have been using sertraline for a short time and at a low dose, switching to Trittico should not lead to these types of dangerous symptoms.

If your doctor recommended it, you can switch from Sertraline to Trittico XR overnight, i.e. take the first dose of Trittico in the evening if you took the last dose of Seronil in the morning.
