Forxiga can increase diuresis (urine excretion), which results in, for example, lower blood pressure, fluid deficiency or increased concentration of certain blood components. The problem may be too low supply of fluids, which should be systematically replenished during the treatment (the principle of consuming large amounts of fluids applies to all diabetes patients). Caution should be exercised with people taking medication for high blood pressure.
