Doxepin can be used in combination with Seronil if it has been prescribed by the same doctor, or if the prescriber has been informed of what other medicines you are already taking and what additional medical conditions you have.
Combining these drugs increases the risk of side effects (e.g. drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, blood pressure problems and concentration problems) and serotonin syndrome, the symptoms of which include, m.in others, anxiety, excessive sweating, increased heart rate, muscle tremors or convulsions. Therefore, if combining these drugs is necessary, you should strictly follow the dosage schedule established with your doctor.
