Preparations containing calcium and phosphorus salts (e.g. osteogenon) can cause magnesium absorption disorders in the intestines. In this situation, magnesium should be taken at a different time of day.

A good choice will be magnesium products registered as OTC drugs, e.g. Magne B6 forte, Magnefar B6 forte or other preparations that contain magnesium in a well-absorbed form (lactate, citrate).
