Treatment of anemia is a long-term process that can take up to several months before blood cell levels reach normal and iron storage (ferritin) is rebuilt. A lot also depends on the patient's individual tolerance to iron preparations, as well as the ability of the body to absorb this element. In the case of some chronic diseases (e.g. celiac disease, gastric inflammation), the treatment of anaemia may be difficult. Therefore, the improvement in the condition of the hair may be visible only after a few to several months from the start of treatment (hair growth itself is a process that requires a certain amount of time). In the meantime, it is worth using vitamin preparations and rubs that improve blood supply to the scalp, e.g.:
