The decision to continue treatment with Prolia or switch to intravenous bisphosphonates should be carefully considered. Prolia is effective in treating osteoporosis, especially in patients with celiac disease, and your good response to this drug for nine years suggests that it may be right for you.
On the other hand, if oral bisphosphonates have caused ulcers in the stomach and esophagus, intravenous administration of medications may be beneficial as it bypasses the digestive system and reduces the risk of such side effects. It is also important to consider the long-term health effects and consult with a doctor to assess the risks and benefits associated with each treatment option. Your concerns are understandable, so it is worth making a decision based on full medical information and personal preferences.
