Can I use Klacid if I have potassium, magnesium and sodium deficiency caused by dehydration after diarrhoea?

Can I use Klacid if I have an electrolyte disturbance? I.e. potassium, magnesium or sodium deficiencies. The leaflet says no, but I have been prescribed this medicine.
I am dehydrated after long-term diarrhea and hence the disorder. I also had bradycardia, but it was caused by anorexia and disappeared.

The use of Klacid (clarithromycin) in patients with electrolyte disorders such as potassium (hypokalaemia) or magnesium (hypomagnesaemia) deficiencies is contraindicated. Information leaflets and medical sources clearly indicate that low levels of these electrolytes in the blood may increase the risk of side effects associated with this medicine.

In your case, given that you are experiencing dehydration after prolonged diarrhoea and that you have had bradycardia, it is important that you consult your doctor. Your doctor can assess your health situation and decide if Klacid is suitable in this case or if you need to treat electrolyte disorders before starting antibiotic therapy.
