When combining niacin (vitamin B3) in high doses (3 g per day) with an anticoagulant such as Pradaxa (dabigatran), special caution is advised. Niacin, in high doses, can affect blood clotting, which can potentially increase the risk of bleeding, especially when combined with anticoagulants.

I encourage you to consult your doctor before continuing such supplementation to assess the potential risks and benefits and tailor treatment to the individual needs of the patient. The safety and effectiveness of therapy should always be monitored by a specialist.
