Whether Nebicard can cause an increase in blood sugar levels and other side effects?

He takes a 2.5 Nebicard half in the morning and in the evening. From the very beginning I feel bad, weakness, dizziness, dryness and redness of the eyes, red face, and my blood sugar parameters have increased, I see worse, I will sweat excessively. Does this drug raise my sugar, the sugar and insulin curve came out terribly or should I stop taking this drug because of prediabetes and other side effects I feel. I've read that it masks and even causes type 2 diabetes. Best regards

The drug does not raise blood sugar levels.

According to the manufacturer: "Nebicard does not affect glucose levels in patients with diabetes. Still, caution should be exercised in these patients, as nebivolol may mask some symptoms of hypoglycemia (tachycardia, palpitations)."

However, it can cause malaise, weakness, dizziness, dry and red eyes, hyperhidrosis. A reduction in the dose or a change in treatment may be indicated.

Side effects observed should be reported to the doctor, who will decide on further treatment.
