Please note that pregnancy tests carried out may give a false positive result up to 10 days after administration of Zivafert.
According to the information contained in the summary of product characteristics of Zivafert, the half-life, i.e. the time after which 50% of the dose will be eliminated from the body, is approximately 37 hours. After this time, the residue from the 10,000 IU dose will be 5,000 IU. After another 37 hours, 2500 IU (50% of 5000 IU) will remain in the body, etc.
Depending on the dose of the preparation and the individual predispositions of the body, this time can be longer or shorter. However, there is no way that the drug will be completely removed from the body within 4 days.
