Hello
The allergist prescribed the child a sublingual solution oraltec dog, apparently a novelty for desensitization, unfortunately it is very difficult to access, there is little information about this preparation. Is it really because it is a novelty?
Best regards

Oraltek Dog is imported to Poland. At the attached link you can check which pharmacies have this drug in stock: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/130678/oraltek-dog-dander-pies-e802-aerozol/apteki/w-polsce
The drug is approved for sale, the distributor is Emma - you have to call and they will tell you which pharmacy has already cooperated with them and they will order it. My son is undergoing treatment for a cat, so I underwent the whole procedure recently

My answer is based on the data from the Register of Medicinal Products valid as of today. Perhaps the drug was available in the past. I will try to consult the manufacturer and determine the details. I will come back with an answer as soon as I get the information.
If it is not approved, why was it in the pharmacy and we managed to get it?

The drug is not approved for marketing in Poland. Oraltek Dog is not listed in the Medicinal Products Register.
If, despite everything, the doctor decided to introduce such a therapy, you can apply for the target import of the drug - i.e. its import from abroad.
The first step is to have the request issued by the doctor conducting the treatment.
