I've been taking Effectin for almost 3 weeks, but I still feel stinging in my chest, nervousness, shortness of breath and dizziness – will the drug help me and when can I expect improvement?

Good morning.
I've been taking effectin for almost 3 weeks now. I took 75 MF for a week, after a week it was increased. I still feel a stinging sensation in my chest, I'm nervous, I'm out of breath, dizzy and weak. Will effectin help me? When do I start to see improvement?

To @Ania:

Reducing the dose of Efectin (venlafaxine) to 75 mg is possible, but should be done under medical supervision. Dosage decisions should be made based on clinical judgment by a specialist.

The symptoms you describe, such as nervousness, dizziness, shortness of breath, tiredness and excessive sweating, may be related to your medical condition. It does not necessarily have to be the result of the drug used. It is important to discuss these symptoms with your psychiatrist at your next appointment to tailor your treatment to your needs.

To @Ania:

Such symptoms are usually transient and disappear after 7-21 days. Usually, these side effects appear within the first days of treatment, but in some patients they may not be observed until a few days after the start/dose increase.

How long does it take for these undesirable symptoms to disappear?

Efectin (venlafaxine) can cause a variety of side effects, including chest stinging, nervousness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and weakness. These symptoms may be temporary, but their persistence for almost three weeks requires consultation with a doctor.

The full therapeutic effect of the drug usually appears after a few weeks, so it is important to monitor your condition and report any worrying symptoms. If the symptoms worsen, especially chest pain, immediate medical consultation is recommended.
