Rantudil Retard, containing acemethacin, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to treat pain and inflammation. It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, and its duration of action is about 4.5 hours, with the maximum concentration in the blood being reached later, which is characteristic of extended-release forms.
Caution should be exercised with interactions with other medications, including medications for depression and Alprox (alprazolam). Rantudil Retard may interact with other medications that increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
