Is it normal to experience very severe abdominal pain when taking Axia Conti placebo pills?
Is it normal for me to have a stomachache when I am bleeding when I take Axia Conti contraceptive pills? This is only my second package and I had bleeding with placebo pills only once, but during this one I had a terrible stomach ache, twice as much as during my period. Is this a cause for concern?

Abdominal pain may occur when using hormonal contraception, but if the problem is significantly worse, it is worth visiting a gynaecologist for a check-up. Not all patients tolerate birth control pills well. If you also experience very severe pain in the next cycle, you should discuss with your doctor the possibility of changing the preparation.
