Good evening, I'm on day 3 of menstruation after discontinuing Provera. I have a question if I can tomorrow on the 4th day of the cycle test hormones such as: LH, FSH, testosterone, prolactin, progesterone, SHBG, estradiol?? Will PROVERY pills have no effect on the result of hormones? Will the falsified results not come out??

Provera (medroxyprogesterone) can affect the results of hormonal tests, especially those related to progesterone and estrogen. However, after discontinuation of the drug and during the 3rd day of the cycle, hormonal tests such as LH, FSH, testosterone, prolactin, progesterone, SHBG and estradiol can already be performed. During this period, hormone levels are stable, which promotes accurate results. It is always a good idea to consult your doctor to discuss the results and how to interpret them.
