Do I need to stop taking Advantan emulsion before anesthesia?

Do I have to stop taking Advantan milk for a certain time before anesthesia? Or is the anesthesia influenced by Advantan's milk?

There are no specific recommendations stating that the emulsion of Advantan (a topical preparation of methylprednisolone aceponate) should be discontinued before anesthesia. Advantan is applied topically and usually does not cause significant systemic effects that could affect anaesthesia.

I encourage you to discuss all medications you are using, including topical steroids such as Advantan, with your anesthesiologist or doctor before you plan to use anesthesia. They can assess the individual situation and decide whether it is necessary to stop treatment, especially if there are other medications or health factors that may affect the anesthesia.
