Can I take fish oil (krill) 1 mg per day or collagen, bearing in mind that I am taking Kardégic 75 and Eliquis 5 mg?

Hello

Suia has a stroke in January, I am on Kardégic 75 (placement of a carotid stent) and Eliquis 5 mg.

I wanted to know if I could take fish oil (krill) at a rate of 1mg per day or collagen because I suffer from joint pain certainly related to menopause.

Thank you

Both fish oil (including krill oil) and collagen can have beneficial effects on health, especially in the context of joint pain.

However, their use in the context of taking Kardégic (acetylsalicylic acid) and Eliquis (apixaban) requires caution. Fish oil may increase the risk of bleeding, which is important when using antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs. I encourage you to discuss your willingness to use both supplements with your treating physician to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.
