Can the morning after pill cause a delay in menstruation?

I have had stable periods all my life, and this month after unprotected intercourse, I took a birth control pill. The 1st time they went for three days and now in a month they went 2 times, please tell me if this is normal?

Yes, the morning after pill can affect the regularity of menstruation. The drug contains a high dose of hormones, which can affect the menstrual cycle and thus - menstruation may occur several days later than usual, bleeding may be stronger or weaker than usual, and after taking the pill you may experience spotting between menstrual periods. These changes are usually temporary, and the menstrual cycle usually returns to normal in the following months. If this does not happen - I recommend contacting a doctor.
