Yes, Amipride is used to treat acute and chronic schizophrenia with positive symptoms (such as delusions, hallucinations, impaired thinking, hostility and distrust) and/or negative symptoms (such as blunting of feelings, emotional and social withdrawal). The drug is available only on prescription.
