Due to a lack of data on the safety and efficacy of Lotemax, the use of Lotemax in children and adolescents is not recommended.
Based on his knowledge, the doctor may recommend the use of the drug in a different group of patients than described in the leaflet. In this case, he recommends using the drug described as "off-label", i.e. outside the registered indications. It is the doctor who assesses whether the expected benefits of using the drug outweigh the risks associated with it. The doctor also determines the method of using the preparation.
