Can Dexilant cause diarrhea?
Yesterday I took 1 dose of dexilant 60 mg and today another one in the morning, so after the 1st dose I am suffering from acute diarrhea - is it possible that this is a side effect of the drug? I will add that I feel normally hungry - unfortunately smecta does not help. I will add that I combined this drug with duspatin also prescribed by the doctor. Earlier, when I was taking Polprazole 40 on an ad hoc basis, I did not have such symptoms. I don't know what to do now and how long this diarrhoea will last.

Diarrhoea is one of the most commonly reported side effects with Dexilant. In clinical trials, diarrhoea in patients was mild to moderate. Due to the fact that each body reacts differently to a given preparation, it is impossible to determine how long the diarrhea will last in your case. If the side effect persists, tell your doctor.
