Lexotan (bromazepam) is a benzodiazepine drug used primarily to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. There is no evidence that Lexotan directly causes gastric polyposis, a condition in which polyps develop in the stomach. However, each body reacts differently to drugs, so it cannot be said with 100% certainty that the drug did not contribute to the disease in any way.
