Whether Kwetaplex Could it have worsened my mental state and caused excessive sleepiness?

I've been depressed for 2 years.
I've been on tegretol for two months now 2*100 for a week I have had kwetaplex xr - 25 on. After turning on quetsplex, my depressive state and general physical well-being worsened. I sleep 14 hours a day. Is this normal?

Yes, it could have happened. Although quetiapine (contained in Quettelex) is designed to improve mental health, some patients may experience worsening symptoms, increased depression, anxiety and increased drowsiness. If, despite the passage of subsequent days of therapy, the drug will do you more harm than good, I would recommend contacting a doctor. You may need to change your medication to a different one.
