I've been taking Parogen for 3 days. From day one, strange things have been happening to me. I feel like I have a terrible cold plus I feel an unpleasant burning sensation in my body, arms, legs. Yes, it is possible that these are side effects of the drug. Paroxetine in Parogen, especially at the beginning of treatment or during dose changes, may cause flu-like symptoms such as tiredness, muscle pain, chills or even a slight increase in temperature. These are rare side effects, but they may occur in some people. In addition, although it is rare and usually occurs when using too high doses or in combination with other drugs that increase serotonin levels - the so-called serotonin syndrome can occur. Serotonin syndrome can cause muscle aches, stiffness, fever, chills, and other flu-like symptoms. If you felt well before taking the drug, in my opinion it is better to stop taking the preparation and seek medical advice as soon as possible. In the event of a bad reaction of the body to the drug, it will be necessary to change the therapy to another, more tailored preparation.
