Acnelec is a formulation containing adapalene, which is a retinoid applied topically to treat acne. Like Acnatac, it acts mainly on the surface of the skin and its systemic absorption is minimal.
Adapalene, contained in Acnelec, is not known to cause menstrual delays. Delayed periods can be caused by a number of different factors, including stress, weight changes, intense physical activity, hormonal disorders, or other medications.
