I've had spotting for a week because I forgot to take a contraceptive pill one day. I've been taking Macmiror Complex 500 since yesterday. My period should start next week. Can I take vaginal pills without any problems during spotting?

In the case of bleeding/spotting and vaginal medications (such as Macmiror Complex), the problem is that the medication can flow out of the vagina with the blood, making it less effective. Small, occasional spotting should not have a very significant impact on the course of the treatment. However, in the case of intense spotting or bleeding, it may be necessary to wait until they subside before starting treatment, or to contact a doctor and possibly change the medication, e.g. to an oral one.
