Hello. Yesterday it was inflamed asertin 50 . Today the doctor changed me to Seronil 10 mg. I wanted to ask how many days of break do you need to do if you don't have Asertin before and now you are discharged with Seronil? I forgot to ask the doctor.

When switching from Asertin (sertraline) to Seronil (fluoxetine), no long-term discontinuation between drugs is required, as both belong to the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
If you change your medication, doctors often recommend starting a new medication immediately after you finish your previous one. The general guidelines indicate that if you stop taking Asertin, you can start treatment with fluoxetine (Seronil) the next day.
Please remember that treatment of difficulties in the area of psychological functioning only with pharmacological agents carries the risk of intensification of symptoms after discontinuation of medication and or shortly thereafter. If you have not started psychotherapy (apart from taking medication), I encourage you to make an appointment for a consultation with an appropriate specialist. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
