The allergist wrote me an alertec prescription, he said if it didn't work, I should take two pills at once. One tablet is indicated on the leaflet
Can I actually take 2 pills at once?

The standard recommended Allertec dosage for adults is 10 mg per day. Taking two tablets a day (20 mg) can lead to an increased risk of side effects such as drowsiness, headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, as well as gastrointestinal problems (nausea, stomach pain). In my opinion, you should not use twice the dose if Allertec does not work - but you can consider alternative allergy preparations based on other substances (e.g. Clatra, Allegra)
