Good morning

I am 27 years old and I was given oxodil combo 2x1 by my doctor for shortness of breath and awakening cough after inflammation and upper respiratory tract virus. Is it normal that after it I tear myself out of my lungs more, so I cough more and sometimes wheez?

After starting treatment with Oxidil Combo, it is possible that you experience increased expectoration and coughing, which may be a result of the medication.

Oxodil Combo is a medication used to treat symptoms of asthma and chronic lung diseases such as shortness of breath, coughing, and wheezing. Its action is aimed at reducing inflammation in the airways, which should lead to improved breathing.

Bronchodilators can cause more secretions to be cleared from the airways, which sometimes leads to a more intense cough. Wheezing may be associated with irritation of the respiratory tract. If the symptoms are severe or worrisome, it is recommended to consult a doctor to assess the situation and possibly modify the therapy. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
