Pregabalin, a medication used primarily to treat neuropathic pain, epilepsy, and generalized anxiety, can affect libido and sexual performance – some people may experience changes in sexual functioning as a side effect. Pregabalin can cause decreased libido (sex drive), difficulty achieving an erection (in men), difficulty reaching orgasm, or a general decrease in sexual satisfaction. Pregabalin can also cause drowsiness and fatigue, which can indirectly affect sexual performance and interest in sexual activity.

The effects of pregabalin on libido and sexual function are not the same in all patients. Some may not experience any problems, while others may notice significant changes.
