Hello, in my case, the intercourse took place during the day of ovulation, i.e. July 10th, contraception in the form of condoms was used, but the elastic band broke during the intercourse without ejaculation, possible preejaculate.
I took the ellaone tablet after 10 hours. This morning I have pain in my lower abdomen but without bleeding, is there a risk that I am pregnant or is it a side effect of taking the pill?

Still, the risk of pregnancy is low.

However, after the calculation, I took the pill after 15 hours, is there still a risk?

In the presented scenario, the risk of pregnancy is low, especially due to the rapid use of the emergency pill. Lower abdominal pain is likely a side effect of EllaOne.

The intercourse took place on the day of ovulation, which increases the chance of conception. Despite the condom breaking, full ejaculation did not occur, which slightly reduces the risk. Taking ellaOne within 10 hours of sex is a very good time, as it is most effective in the first 24 hours. EllaOne works by delaying or inhibiting ovulation, which can be particularly important in this case.

The pain in your lower abdomen that you feel may be a side effect of taking ellaOne. This is a fairly common reaction of the body and does not necessarily mean pregnancy.
If you do not have the expected menstrual period, you should take a pregnancy test about 14 days after intercourse. In the case of persistent or worsening pain, it is worth consulting a doctor. If you have any further doubts, it is worth consulting your attending physician. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
