No. Drugs contain two different active substances with a completely different mechanism of action. The active ingredient in Agapurin is pentoxifylline, which improves microcirculation by increasing blood fluidity and anticoagulant effects. The drug is also used in cerebral ischemia, intermittent claudication, pain at rest, diabetic angiopathy and angioneuropatias. Acard, on the other hand, contains acetylsalicylic acid, which works by inhibiting platelet aggregation and thromboxane-dependent vasoconstriction. The drug is used in the prevention of diseases that threaten the formation of blood clots and embolisms in blood vessels. Both drugs should not be treated as substitutes.
