Etruzil is a drug that contains letrozole, which is an aromatase inhibitor. Letrozole is mainly used in the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by reducing estrogen levels in the body, which can slow or stop the growth of hormone-dependent cancer cells.
Hair loss (alopecia) is one of the potential side effects of letrozole. Although it is not a very common side effect, it can occur in some patients.
