My gynecologist prescribed me Oekolp Forte suppositories and also the Oekolp cream after I told her of permanent urine loss / bladder weakness ( so not only under stress ) in the postmenoic phase.
After reading the package insert, I doubt the choice of medication. Is the drug the right choice?

The decision to use the drug in a specific case is made by a doctor based on m.in medical history of the patient. Oekolp preparations are usually used to eliminate the sensations associated with atrophic vaginosis. This does not exclude the use of drugs in other indications, also not described in the leaflet. Such use of the preparation is the so-called "off-label" use, i.e. outside the registered indications. We wrote more about this method of using drugs in the article:
