No, it is not recommended to replace your doctor's prescribed gastroprotective medicine with NeoBianacid without medical consultation.
NeoBianacid is a natural product indicated for the treatment of problems related to gastric acidity, such as heartburn, pain, gastroesophageal reflux and gastritis. However, it does not directly replace pharmacological gastroprotective agents such as pantoprazole, which are proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) with a specific mechanism of action.
Gastroprotective drugs such as pantoprazole work by blocking the secretion of gastric juices and reducing gastric acidity in a stronger and targeted way. They are prescribed for specific medical conditions, and their intake and dosage should be carefully monitored by a doctor.
NeoBianacid can be used in combination with proton pump inhibitors or during periods of suspension of treatment, but only as directed by your doctor. It should not be used as a self-replacement for prescribed therapy.
If you have problems with your current gastroprotective medicine or want to consider alternative treatment, talk to your doctor about this. Only a doctor can correctly assess the individual clinical situation and recommend possible changes in the therapy.
