Can I reduce my dose of Ozempic?

Is it possible to reduce the dose of Ozempic and continue treatment? For 4 weeks I have been injecting 0.5, but the sugar is too low. Is it possible to switch back to the 0.25 dose?

Ozempic is a prescription drug, and you should follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor when using it.
If the use of Ozempic at a dose of 0.5 mg causes glycaemic drops that are life-threatening, you should immediately report it to your attending physician for correction of pharmacotherapy. If other medicines to control glycaemia are used, the dose is usually changed during concomitant treatment with Ozempić.
