Does Siofor cause trouble falling asleep?

I have been using siofor 500 for about 2 weeks, one tablet per night. I noticed that I am not so sleepy during the day, but after about 1-2 hours from taking the pill it is very difficult for me to fall asleep, sometimes I do not sleep all night. Is it related to this drug?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, sleep disturbances are not among the adverse reactions that have been reported with Siofor. However, this does not mean that the drug could not have caused such an effect in your case. Side effects are worth reporting, we wrote more about it here:

If you associate taking a new medication with a problem with falling asleep, it is worth reporting it to your doctor in order to determine the cause of the problem.
