Stalloral should be refrigerated, but short-term storage at room temperature (up to 25°C) for up to 24 hours usually does not significantly affect its stability or effectiveness. However, it is important to immediately put the preparation in the refrigerator and continue the therapy as directed by the doctor.
Hello
I have a Stalloral treatment for my 7 year old daughter for a dust mite allergy. Unfortunately I didn't put it in the fridge as soon as it was delivered and it stayed at room temperature (16 to 17 degrees) for almost 24 hours. Will this have consequences on the effectiveness of the treatment or on dangerousness when intake? I would like to point out that this is a first treatment.

Staloral, a drug used in allergen immunotherapy, should be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8°C to ensure its efficacy and stability. Storing it out of the refrigerator can lead to degradation of the active ingredients, which can reduce the effectiveness of treatment and affect patient safety.
If it happens that Staloral is stored outside the refrigerator for a short time (e.g. a few hours), this should not have a big impact on its quality, but long-term storage at the wrong temperature for several days is definitely not recommended. In my opinion, it would be necessary to see a doctor for a new prescription, buy a new drug and store it in accordance with the guidelines.
