Does Glucophage contain the same as Avamina?

The doctor prescribed Glucopade, but it was not available and I was given Avamina. Are they the same?

I understand that it is about the drug Glugophage. Avamina and Glucophage contain the same active ingredient - metformin, they are equivalents.
