Pau d'arco (lapacho) can be combined with Bibloc. There are no clinically significant interactions between the preparations.
Pau d'arco should not be combined with anticoagulants, e.g. over-the-counter drugs with acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. Acard, Polocard).
However, there are no contraindications to combining this product with beta-blockers, such as Bibloc.
What's more, the supplement can be used by people with cardiovascular diseases.
The lapachol contained in Pau d'arco has mainly antimicrobial activity. It supports the treatment of infections and strengthens immunity. It is usually recommended that the therapy lasts 2-3 weeks, then a break and if necessary after 1-2 weeks the therapy can be resumed.
It is worth maintaining the appropriate dosage, because when taken in amounts greater than 1.5 grams, pau d'arco can become toxic and cause damage to the kidneys or liver.
