The list of side effects occurring after taking the drug or the mechanism of action of the substance itself does not indicate that heartburn may occur after taking venlafaxine.
In addition to the medicinal substance, the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn) can also be affected by excipients found in the preparation, m.in. lactose present in some drugs.
Other factors, such as food intake or coexisting diseases, can also affect the occurrence of heartburn.
If the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux persist for longer and return regularly, you should contact your doctor.
