The dermatologist recommended using Soolantra around the eyes, although the leaflet says not to use the medicine on the eyelids - what should I do?

Hello, I have developed redness and pimples around my mouth, chin and the corners of my eyes. The dermatologist recommended the use of Soolantra cream. In the leaflet, it is not recommended to apply the cream to the eyelids and around the lips. I don't know what to do, please advise.

Soolantra is used to treat rosacea, which can also take an ocular form, manifesting itself as conjunctivitis and skin lesions on the eyelids. If your doctor thought that your condition was rosacea, he or she may have recommended a slightly different medication than the one indicated in the leaflet. The cream should be applied to the affected skin (a thin layer) and be careful not to get into the eye. Rosacea is often accompanied by erythema, so you should use mild cosmetics dedicated to problematic skin and use sunscreen all year round.

On our website you can check the availability of the medicine and make a reservation at the pharmacy:
